hi, My name is Ashley

As a homeschooling mother of three, I know it takes a village to help raise babies. Not everyone has a village, so that is where I come in! As your postpartum doula, I will be part of your village and support you through this time of transition. I bring a calming, nonjudgmental attitude and offer wisdom that aligns with your specific needs. It is my mission to help you feel supported, physically and emotionally, and confident in your role as a parent.

I feel I have a God-given calling to support families and their new additions. I have worked with newborns for most of my adult life. I started by running a babysitting agency as a teenager, where I trained babysitters and matched them with families needing care. Since high school, I have been involved with babies in many ways, from working as a full-time, live-in nanny to serving in the Ax Church Nursery on Sundays. I have experience with and am comfortable with multiples, preemies, breastfeeding support, and developmental sleep support.

I hold an American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. This certification covers CPR, AED application, and choking relief for adults, children, and infants.

In an effort to continually improve myself, I am in the process of earning the DONA International Postpartum Doula certification and the DNT Network Newborn Care Specialist certification.
